This summer we went to the sea. At that time, the car was … Hmm … In general, we owned it for only 3 months =) We drove in two cars: relatives got in touch with us on Getz'e. Before leaving, they sealed both cars with squeakers.
For us, this turned out to be a little trouble: after lasting about 15 km, a small piece began to come off on the hood, creating noise. We did not attach any importance to this ... Having traveled another 15 km, we could not stand it and stopped to tear off this ill-fated piece ... I come up to tear off his nafik, and what do I see? This sprout from a squirrel "marked" our hood! It would be more correct to say that the beating left a small abrasion ... Not at all noticeable, but insulting. With his father, they scored on him and set off on a long journey.
Now about the behavior of the machine.
Buying it, we thought "machine … Need to get used to, we will ride like pensioners." But "Kamryusha" refuted this stupid idea with her head held high! The volume of the engine compensates for the entire machine) Although, this was to be expected) If, when overtaking, she lacks speed, it is worth pushing the pedal, the machine switches to a lower speed, the speed rises to 4-5 thousand and ... That's it ... You can't hold it! The car turns into a herd of mustangs! I still can’t get enough of its dynamics =) As I already said, relatives on the “Mad Stoolâ€, as we called it) got in touch with us)))) They also called it “Donkeyâ€, because due to the short wheelbase on bumps the car swayed to such an extent that it seemed as if they were blinking at us far away (due to ignorance of the road, they were driving behind). By day 2, we got used to it)))
On the serpentine, the car behaves chic ... Due to its width, the turns go smoothly, there is no roll, it runs uphill like an Olympic runner! =) Getz, constantly lagging behind us on the track, in the mountains, in principle, behaved briskly. He probably warmed up for 2 thousand kilometers =) Then it turned out that the driver was simply tired of catching up with us, and therefore he constantly kept the pedal on the floor =) Fool ... =)
As soon as we got to the place, they immediately removed the squeaker =) For it makes sense it was a little, and she got pissed off ...
On the road…
Last time, when in 2006 we drove alone in a seven, we were fined 8 times, 7 of them in the Saratov region! o_O This time everything is completely different: we were fined only 1 time. Thank you for everything radar detector =) We took it from other relatives. Now they have bought their own. There is a remark to the Saratov roads, or rather to their absence! The entire region was trudging 40-70 km / h, provided that there were still about a thousand kilometers to cut! Only near Saratov, on the contrary, are the most excellent roads. There was an unpleasant aftertaste …
It seems that everything =) Below I posted pictures with cars that made an impression. This is a snow-white Camry, and Mazda RX-8, and a good dvinashka, and a matte BMW, and "Russian Jeeping" (they take tourists on excursions), and a retro car))) But I liked the 21st Volga in Volgograd the most ^_^ I also post ordinary pictures from the road.

Just do not feel sorry for the adhesive tape. We sealed the current in the attachment points and calmed down, so the piece began to hit the hood almost immediately. But on Getz they didn’t spare the adhesive tape - they glued it on top of the peeper, so they didn’t have it peeling off, it withstood 2 thousand km! On the way back, they decided to take off, because. we filmed (for the company))))

I repeat, we have already returned from this trip for like 2 months, I do NOT plan to go somewhere "long-distance" in the near future, I just don't want to apply a protective film either. This topic was created to describe our trip to the south, about the behavior of the car in such conditions, and not about the fact that the protection is not so hot. I think the idea is clear.
