before taking hold of the head - Toyota Corolla Levin, 1.6L, 1999
so boys and girls, do not repeat my mistakes!
In connection with the need to increase the power of an already rather large engine (172 real forces at the stand at 7800 rpm at 1597 cc), a decision was made to even more force the engine, up to about 200 forces (oh, how ridiculous it sounds :)
200 forces, well, where with them, but do not forget that the car weighs a little over a ton with an aim to get rid of all sorts of unnecessary :)
And forcing begins (and often ends) on the cylinder head, it was not possible to put a stroker, etc., because the engine will spin more dumber and lose its incendiary
So, the cylinder head, what we have:
2 shafts, 20 valves 5 per cylinder, 3 for the inlet, 2 for the outlet, the inlet diameter is such that there is nowhere to increase them
standard inlet shaft phase 250 degrees, lift 7.5mm
exhaust 250 degrees lift 7mm
we introduce: shafts with increased phases and lifts, 288 degrees and 9 mm each TODA
reinforced valve springs TODA
split gears TODA
reinforced timing belt Greddy we grind the
cylinder head channels
The head itself was originally made well, all the channels are straight, the only thing that can be done is to remove the steps, which was done.
then everything was introduced, set to cold, and operated, but the machine began to eat oil very actively, why? - because no attention has been paid to the valve guides.
this week I take the cylinder head from the OKB Dinamika, where they make and install bronze guides for me, take a picture at the exit and post it here ...
Price tag: 8 000 ₽did not put stroker, piston and connecting rods also stock? those. did not touch the bottom at all?
they didn't seem to argue about it :)
and comparing big with small is not humane, I think it's clear here why the above 2.0 fights 1.6
I would argue on the topic of engine promotion from a stoker ... as it has been discussed more than once (at least on Hondas) a
hell of a spinning 1.6 producing 185 forces will lose to a neat spinning one (although some twist up to 9.5 thousand) 2 liters (b20vtec) ...
volume decides ...
In the same place on the TODA website, only the price tag per hundred square meters.
Was the SG increased? how much did you snatch the shafts?
by the way, on the Toda website, they have risen in price (((by the
way, are there any stockers on 4age? discard the link pliz if there are such
