Battery replacement — logbook Toyota Prius 2005

   Toyota Prius 15 2005

The additional battery began to "die". She died with dignity, not like on an ordinary car, which suddenly turns the starter and does not start. No, everything is civilized here. She showed me an exclamation mark when turned on, and even then sometimes. Well, the on-board computer in the service mode showed 9.8 volts instead of the prescribed 12 ...
The search for a battery in the local distribution network did not bring good results.
Toppla was rejected from the market because of the dumb appearance (it seems that it either stood on the market for a couple of years or was removed from the car altogether).
SuperNova, with all my love for this brand for its purebredness and reliability, was sold at an unrealistically inflated price of 4500 rubles with its retail price in Moscow of 2700.
It turned out that a 45-amp battery of this size with direct polarity is generally a rarity.
I ordered a contract battery from the Farmer. The issue price is 1500r + 300r for delivery. Godly.
On September 10, the barateika arrived. Packaging is cardboard. The negative terminal is pressed into the battery case, the electrolyte has leaked out. Well guessed to open on the spot.
Made a claim to Gruzovozoff, demanded to return 1800. The shopping mall still refuses, refers to the need for rigid containers. The farmer, in turn, does not consider himself guilty.
And right before I decided to feed the huckster and buy SuperNova from him, I suddenly found a Korean Supreme battery for 2700r, which was put in its place.
For some time, on the advice of experts, I went without a hose for venting gases. Then he set it up, altering it a little and building up the tubes.

Issue price: 2 700 ₽ Mileage: 77621 km

Continuation of a story.
TK "Gruzovozoff" finally answered my claim. They wrote a lot, but as a result they consider themselves completely innocent.
Firstly, damage to the cargo cannot be regarded as a fact, because the consignor handed over the cargo packed and, theoretically, could deliver an already damaged battery with spilled electrolyte.
Secondly, the shipper had to pack the cargo in rigid containers, because those are the requirements of the company. I don’t know if www.priuschat.ru/go.php?h…3b93798ed6a1ecd6d4d785ec6 is notified about this when sending the goods, but the shopping mall now refers to this.
As a result, there are no grounds for satisfying the claim.
Definitely someone is to blame - either the Farmer or the Carrier. Certainly someone should spend this money. Someone but not me. Let's see what the shipper says. If it still refuses, I will go to court. By and large, there is no point in suing the Farmer, because apart from the checks for sending 1500 rubles for the battery, in which it is completely unclear who sent to whom and for what, there are no more documents.
But I hope that the Farmer values his reputation and if the court finds Gruzovozoff not guilty, he will bear the costs.
