Catalyst! — Toyota Camry, 2008

Hello everyone!
I would like to tell you about a recent experience.
During normal operation of the Camry, all the lights suddenly lit up and the computer writes - check the stabilization system, the check is on and all that. I'm in service. They say — the replacement of the catalyst and two sensors. Price - 69 thousand rubles. I say - a guarantee, they refuse - they say you were given a quality car, made of quality materials, quality assembly. It was you who did not operate it qualitatively - they filled it with low-quality gasoline.
Outcome — negotiations with Toyota Europe (Brussels) — first refusal. Then I resorted to all my administrative resources and only after that - all of a sudden it was recognized as a warranty case and everything was changed within 24 hours.
You must always fight to the end!
Good luck to all!

Well, some kind of nonsense turns out. At least from the description.
If all the bulbs lit up to the heap, it could still be, although it’s also not clear what stabilization has to do with it? But that’s why, with low-quality gasoline, you need to change the sensors. Are they disposable? A strange problem happened to you ... (
But in any case, well done, what Usually in Toyota they are shaking over the client, well, at least in our country.

The service said that due to the “clogging” of the catalyst, the car does not gain the necessary power and the security systems cannot use the car adequately, and therefore all systems, including stabilization, were turned off by the computer.

if everyone could communicate with Europe in this way ... then maybe they achieved something ... it’s easier for us to answer “no” than to listen and help ... it’s just that very rarely someone does something to someone ...
