Legendary 2JZ-GTE… — logbook Toyota Mark II 1990

Since the process of finalizing the machine dragged me out a lot, I could no longer stop and began to think over a further strategy for the development of the machine. Having removed 340 forces from 1 jay, I realized that this power is not particularly impressive, and even those people whom I have repeatedly rolled in a car are used to it. But I noticed that people are not childish when I try to turn sideways in the rear axle demolition mode)) It also affected me and adrenaline overflowed)) But more on that later. So I ran into stock turbines 1 Jay. I blew a maximum of 1 bar on them, since the Autronics boost controller was not involved, and the turbines reached such pressure thanks to the SilektrS exhaust system. It would be possible to put a boost valve, which I already bought and blow 1.2 having received about 360 forces, but it’s not a fact that stock turbos would have lived for a long time at such a pressure, and the increase is not significant) Ie. I stood on the verge of the fact that in order to continue further improvements to the machine, not frail cash injections were required. Specifically, you can put a turbo kit with a normal turbine, refine the fuel system and the ignition system, you also need to improve the engine cooling system and, as a result, get about 500 forces without opening the engine)) But then the question immediately arises how and where to realize this power? Firstly, the stock automatic transmission will not cope with such a tube and it must be improved, or changed to mechanics, but since the car was planned for drag, the automatic is preferable, and then the normal ceramic clutch for the mechanics and the manual transmission itself cost like two modifications of the machine by Harvest, and keep his machines and 1000 forces and switch faster bellows)) it was necessary to replace the silent blocks with floating supports and replace some of the levers. Also, attention should be paid to the brakes. And it’s very difficult to realize such power on a rear-wheel drive and you need either wide wheels or slicks, which you can’t ride in the city)) I.e. you can't build a city car, you have to uproot it in order to show at least some result in the quarter, and then in Moscow you won't surprise anyone with this power! Those. the car must be specifically dismantled, but I didn’t really want to, because the car is ideal! There was another option — to remake the mark on the four-wheel drive! Then the problem with the implementation of power would disappear, especially since there are even all-wheel drive configurations for this machine. But after studying the materiel and talking with smart people, I realized that in order to shove the all-wheel drive system into my cart, I need to specifically cut open the entire tunnel of the box! And it's like cutting alive! And then I realized that these 500 forces will not last long for me either and I will want more, and this is already a deeper refinement of 1 jay, which is not economically feasible, since you need to build a dragster with 2 jays, there is where to roam, there are examples when 800 forces were removed from the stock motor! Also, after looking closely at the competitors and evaluating my strength and the required budget, I realized that I did not want to build a car for several years, giving everything to the last drop, and then build it, but the competitors had already gone far ahead, because the speeds are growing every year. Therefore, this whole idea with a dragster is all with a pitchfork in the water! Here you need to have a specific budget and build a car immediately based on it and uproot it to the fullest, making it easier, etc. But with my beauty, I do not want to do this! But the main thing that I managed to achieve with this car was to install and set up Autronic SM4, now I realized that I could build any car and with any motor with such an important tool. And so, after much thought and sleepless nights, I remembered how I got carried away with drifting when I was waiting for my car from Japan, how I watched videos in Japanese, read various forums, talked with pilots, once I even managed to ride with Ilya Shifty on his 90 Mark as part of a drift -taxi and it hooked me, but when the car arrived and its appearance said that it was yesterday from the assembly line, I realized that I was not ready to apply it on concrete blocks, and this is inevitably doing such a thing as drifting))) I.e. . again I got a pitchfork, and I set my sights on the drag, I described the considerations on this matter above))) And then it was like a cock pecked me in the ass! And why not take another car, which will really not be a pity and with which you can do anything by building cramps from scratch! Well, it turned! I estimated the budget and it turned out that building a cramp from scratch from another car is about the same as refining my Mark to 500 forces, but here you get complete freedom for imagination and fantasy, since you are not worried about comfort or scratches on the body, i.e. you need to take an inexpensive car that you won’t feel sorry for pulling and on which you can just plow, which I actually always wanted)) this exciting competition the more the movement is gaining momentum and attracting more and more people. I haven’t decided on a donor for the installation yet, but it will be something of a brand, you need to take an atmospheric car on the cheap and swap a turbo engine there) I hatched this idea for a very long time and even suggested it to some of my friends. But I decided to do it myself. So, for drifting, the usual 1 jet with a boostup is enough, and I began to study the market in search of the same motor as I have on the Mark. But after spending a week on the Internet, I did not find acceptable options for an adequate price, but I found a person in Moscow from whom you can buy a manual transmission kit korobas P154 for mark-like ones, since mechanics are necessary in drifting. So I went, talked to him and leaving an advance payment began to wait for my box) When I was in his service, I noticed several motors, which he put up for sale, but there was no twin-turbo 1 jizet, but there was 2 j twin-turbos with 147 Arista, but I didn’t even really look at him, because the price, as it seemed to me at first, was space! Then I again began to fumble on the internet in search of a motor, as well as a car for a swap, but so far I could not find anything. After some time, I was offered several engines to choose from in Vladik, but the price was clearly too high and in Moscow they turned out to be a little expensive for this engine, although who knows)) And then I thought, why not take a swing at the top Toyota engine of the 90s ? This is the legendary 2jz-gte! On the basis of it, both the Americans and the Australians and our guys built incredible monsters! It's just the perfect motor! Moreover, he will get up without any problems and the box fits him! I call this guy again, from whom I ordered a box (Valentine hello! ) and find out the price for 2 jays, it turned out to be 15 thousand more expensive, but this is a completely different song! I decided to push myself, especially since the motor can be seen live, and not buy a pig in a poke from Vladik! I got my father-in-law, and the next day we went to see the engines. There I managed to talk with one of the bosses of this office and just a nice person (Pasha hello!), Who allowed us to disassemble the entire engine for diagnostics and even did it himself)). They removed the valve covers - the head is ideal, they also threw off the pan - everything is clean there too! As a bonus to the engine, there were 7 TRD booster candles, which were still there from Japan and also discovered that a boost controller was connected to the engine, apparently Yap liked to blow)) Well, in general, we liked the engine and we decided to take it) I called Kiryukha and the next day we took this is a miracle of the Japanese car industry and unloaded in the garage!400-430 forces, please, a moment of 3 liters will also be beneficial!
