The best masters! — Toyota Vitz, 1.3 liter, 2005

   Toyota Vitz 13 2005

One day I began to notice that at low speeds there was some kind of noise! More precisely, not noise but whistling! At first, this whistling appeared rarely and I did not pay attention to it! And as usual, there was not enough time to call in the service! But a month later, the whistling began to intensify and put pressure on the nerves! Went to travel on services!
The first of them:
A specialist sits down to me! Making a circle))) makes a diagnosis! Diagnostics of errors does not give out) he scratches the back of his head and gives out! Et 100% of the valve! (I swear by my mother))))) Stop by, we will change your oil and maybe everything will pass!))) You can also say to clean the vvt-I valve, maybe because of it! I turn around, I'm leaving!)
Then I come to the TOYOTA-LEXUS center! They drive me back for diagnostics! I am not allowed to attend! The master comes out and says the following:
— Wheel bearings require replacement (bearing 1600r / replacement 2000pcs.)
-Front left drive oil seal needs to be changed (oil seal 150r/1500 replacement)
— Crankshaft oil seal needs to be replaced! (200r/5500)
I decide to order bearings and drive oil seal!
A few days later I'm picking up the parts and going to put the car in for repairs in the service! In the TOYOTA-LEXUS center, I decided not to be repaired, but went to a service closer to home, and their prices are simpler!))
I drive the car for repairs! Change bearings! And then the master asks the following question:
- why did you decide that the seals require replacement?
(I) - so they said in the service!
Next, I go down to him in the pit and he shows me that all the seals are in good condition (dry) and do not require replacement yet!
He changed the bearings (900r apiece) and I successfully left the box! But to my regret, the whistler remained the same! I come back and ask a question because of what all the same whistles?
After a ride, he advises me to change the bypass belt and possibly the tensioner pulley!
Having reached the house and armed with a ratchet and a head for 12! Tightened the belt! And lo and behold))))) whistling as it never happened!))))) ordered the belt on the same day! A week later, with his arrival, he replaced it and no problems!
