Carbon fiber or a new face and ... insides - Toyota Auris, 1.6 liter, 2008
I live and drive in a small town, so for the first two years the red Auris was individual and unique, but then a "competitor" appeared. Therefore, for the sake of highlighting (I don’t know if there is such a term or not ...) I decided to decorate the exterior and interior of the car a little.
The choice was between painting and vinyl. After I saw a few roof-hoods in matte vinyl and changed my mind. Decided: CARBON. The material is interesting, textured and stands out from the flow of vinyl cars.
At the same time tried to change the interior.
So, outside the film under Carbon. Inside, it is also the painting of gray and boring elements in red, saturated color.
Plus alloy wheels 16'.
Attaching photo. Sorry for the quality — fotkali in the garage in the evening. I promise good photos, because I bought a camera.
Z.s. The next stage is washing and photographing on the street with a good fotik.
My car myself, so I can not promise beautiful girls. ))
Hey! Looks great! I also want to glue the panel with a film, but somehow I don’t dare! What kind of paint did you paint the panel with and how does it generally hold up and another question is it a carbon film or a carbon fiber fabric with epoxy?
Acrylic paint for car bodies. Holds up great.
Pasted over with a film under carbon, because. you may have to remove it in the future, and you can’t remove the fabric without consequences for the paintwork.
Did you glue the tape yourself? If it is difficult or not? And what kind of film did I use (what company), otherwise it looks really cool like real carbon shimmers!
Black identity looks, but I just wanted more positive))) and I wanted to combine with the body.
Offset fellow! I also glued the hood and innards onto my Auris myself. I don’t know about you, but interior elements repainted in red would look better if they were in gloss black)
So far, like nothing. red, by the way, awakens the appetite. ))))) If anything, repaint.
Beautiful, just don't get tired of red. I painted my panel in yellow under the varnish, so I got tired of it after a month.
Well, you're right, everything is in our hands, I'm tired of repainting it. Yes, after all, my trunk was completely painted red, so I repainted it a day later.
