It all started with fitting along with the wheel … then they used tin for a sample of the future spacer. Having identified the shortcomings of tin, the idea came to use plexiglass! Everything is visible through it and it is convenient to give the desired shape! Next, we cut off the lower ear from the steering knuckle with a grinder and remove the caliper from the ear a little bit.
After a lot! hours of fitting and fitting, we get a first-class plexiglass sample of our future spacer. Then we take a suitable sheet of rod (in our case it is 10mm) and outline the spacer contour.
We used the usual white primer, ... well, then the exhausting many hours of work as a grinder!
