New studded tires turned out to be defective - Toyota Camry, 2.4 liter, 2006
Yesterday's drive to the garage with a little slip resulted in the loss of almost half of the spikes on the front wheels :(
Now we have to spend the night on the street?! Or not leave the garage?!
It turns out my fault in the departure of spikes — NO.
The front and rear wheels have been swapped. When installing, all the spikes were in place. After two days of driving, spikes began to fall out for no reason ?!
I found out from sellers I know that tires of this brand come to stores with defects and there have already been facts of an exchange.
Without thinking twice, I applied with a claim to the store. The store manager acknowledged the defect and after some hesitation exchanged the defect for tires of another brand with free tire service :)
Marriage ended up in tires Yokohama Ice Guard 35 Stud
Now stand continental — run about 5000 km. all pins are in place.
Issue price: 26 000 ₽
So it's new while in the store :)
What if instead of sticks at the doorstep make a normal entry? Maybe then at least a few spikes will survive :)
It happens :) Spikes on concrete and asphalt slide mom don't worry! Father last winter, the concrete floor in the garage shook during the races, but the spikes survived)
So it will have to be from back to front :)
And about the entry, this is rightly noticed;) Hands do not reach, and for the first time it turned out so cruelly.
These tires are renowned for their anti-fall resistance. Even though it's the other way around in advertising.
