Oil? - Toyota Corolla Levin, 1.6 L, 1997
In connection with the crisis, I sit here and think that it is more correct to pour in the current situation.
Motul V300 power which I pour right now ... or still score, and pour Toyota SM
and the difference in price?
in winter it was possible to ride on the 8100 series)))
I'm also thinking about whether to continue pouring Mobil1 3000 or switch to 300v ... I tend to the second option ... I'll take 5v-40 viscosity. and I will zhahat))
The difference in price -
Motul 1500 at retail for 2 liters, Toyota about 2x tyr for 4 liters ... almost twice the difference.
But only 300V is 5w40 and Toyota SM is not present :(
IMHO, do not save on fuel and lubricants :-(
It's easier to save money on something else.
yes, I also come down to this opinion, so I found Motul for 1050 from my friends and ordered :)
b30 for the summer is too cold for this motor - it will overheat, unless of course there is no oil cooler. b50 and even more so b60 is also not worth it, the motor is accurate, the gaps are small ... b40 is optimal. BUT! it's better. I would even say it is necessary to load the oil cooler and drive the B30 :)
Bought :) but more expensive. And when buying, they said that it is better to pour 10w40, is it? O_o
My choice in the summer is MOTUL 300V chrono 10W40, and in winter MOTUL X-lite ester 0W30! And I don’t know grief!
Yes, and I change it after 3-4 thousand, tk. oil in the engine only 3L with an oil filter! At the same time, 4A-GE is prone to overheating (you definitely need a maslocooler), our fuel leaves much to be desired, and the climate is harsh! And from time to time this motor must be turned on the road (not in place!) To the red zone, otherwise the rings begin to lie, the VVTshka is nailed, etc. etc! So the oil is quickly depleted! And the motor must breathe and be clean!
