it’s not that I was looking for a second crown, even to be more precise, I didn’t look at all and before winter I wasn’t going to take any repair actions ...

But it so happened that caught my eye ads for the sale of Crown without documents, again for ridiculous money.

Well I bought it :)

It’s a separate story how we drove him through two stationary traffic police posts, but it passed and now, before reaching 5 km (and they drove 50-60 km) to the point of analysis (my dacha), they catch up with us with flashing lights, but when they see a badly battered ass (and nothing more was not visible) interest was gone, the documents were checked (from another car) and released, but this is not the point ...

And here is the most interesting analysis.
When parsing, I constantly recalled and praised the Japanese - the car is 20 years old, and the bolts are unscrewed, the rubber bands are in place, there is almost no rust (mainly on the frame), I'm afraid that the Russian weather would be sorted out mainly by grinders and welding (no offense to the Russian auto industry ;-) ).
In general, I removed:
- the entire suspension
- the engine
- the box
- the exhaust
- the interior
- and the whole face

now we have to disassemble the second crown, choose the best parts, clean, restore and assemble ... nothing at all :)
