Oil change - Toyota Corolla, 1.4 L, 2000

Now I'm thinking of combining oil change with decarbonization. I want to clean the engine from carbon deposits!

Who else cleans the combustion chamber?

In Russia, at least there are specials. Benz brands with detergents, if you have Lukoil, BP, then in theory they should have such brands. Coke is usually the result of long-term operation of oil of 15,000 or more, or the use of low-quality engine oil, where is the confidence in the need for this operation ?!

By the way, regarding the choice of oil: as far as I know TOYOTA recommends to fill in branded oil with the same name, why not switch to it? 10w-40 is most likely a semi-synthetic, I would prefer synthetics for my engine, and indeed I recommend everyone to use it ... everything of course is still conditioned by the operating conditions, and the climate, ideally I think 5w-30/40/50 IMHO

In general, I pour Castrol Magnatec 5w-30 oil.
It is recommended by the manufacturer.
