To the origins of the drain: three letters - Toyota MR-S, 1.8 liter, 2003
As you know, there is such a phenomenon in styling - "shaving" - removing badges, nameplates, pens, etc. from the car body. As I understand it, the Japanese was a fan of this direction, so he peeled off the inscription "MR-S" from the rear bumper.
I reviewed a lot of photos and decided that it was time to return the name of the model to its place. A short search for letters was successful, and a few weeks later I had a parcel with 3 stylish “chrome†letters “Mâ€, “Râ€, “-S†in my hands. Here I express my gratitude to Alexei from the Moscow region, who was able to sell cheaply and promptly send the desired letters.
Then I started cleaning the letters from the old adhesive tape with a razor and alcohol (only as a wipe!) And sticking a new one, 3M. The next day put the nameplate in its rightful place. I think it worked out well.
I like it too! Although sticking some crap was not an end in itself :-)
I thought it was better - "MR-S", or "T-sport", as a result, the first one ended up on the stern, the second one - on the glove box lid.
When I bought it, I decided not to bother with the nameplate, then I somehow thought about it - what if I put it ... :-) in the end I'm satisfied.
I am a supporter of "shaving" if it were not for the holes on the body, I would have removed everything :)
But this car will not hurt.
Yes, the nameplate is stylish. Concerning the spoiler, the final decision was not made.
No, these are real ones, taken from another MR-S by the owner, and not by the pioneers :-) He has one car for s / h.
the inscription in the subject, the main thing is that the letters are of original quality, then that from the bazaar China does not shine for a long time :(
Thanks! So the topic turned out :-) In my opinion, we took a great photo today.
