Fuel filter replacement — logbook Toyota Corolla 2003
Somehow I changed the fuel filter, I wanted to unsubscribe for a long time, but everything was somehow not up to that. This topic causes a lot of discussions on the forums, someone says that it does not need to be changed at all, but I still decided. People say that depending on the year, body type and country of assembly, e12 Corollas have different filters. On my Corolla hatchback of the English assembly of 2003, the filter turned out to be the same as on the Avensis, number 23300-D020. The filter was bought expensive, I paid 2200 for it, but I wanted to do everything faster, so I took it where it was available and didn’t really worry about the price, although I knew that I could order it much cheaper. Well, what's done is done.
When replacing, you need to immediately buy fuel hoses, suitable from VAZ.
When they changed the filter, they broke the fuel pump (the plastic part on which the fuel hose is put on broke off), it turned out to be suitable from the VAZ 2110 :) One to one, in size and characteristics, only the connection chip is different and the price tag for Toyota is three times higher, the company is the same as for Toyota that for VAZ — Bosch.
Sorry for the lack of photos, it was not before.
Issue price: 2 200 ₽Weird. Should not start the second time, especially in the summer. I only had this on horseradish gasoline once and when the fuel hose was leaking.
I also changed it, but I didn’t feel the difference. As it started in the summer from the second time, it starts up, and in the winter it starts right up to the key. That’s how I drive for 3 years
