Installation of "fan" washer nozzles — Toyota Corolla Spacio, 1.6 liter, 1998
It all started with the fact that I set up the windshield washers in the usual way - with a needle, which turned out to be of poor quality.
The needle broke off at the base of the washer and one nozzle stopped spraying. You can see it in the first video.
Just then I came across the fact that Mazdavody are changing nozzles to fan ones from Toyota Camry.
I think if they are suitable for Mazda, then for Toyota Corolla Spasio they will definitely fit - and it turned out.
Nozzle part number 85381-AA042.
Installation was easy.
Native nozzles come out with a simple click on them from the inside of the hood, and new ones snap back.
In the photo on the left - an old native nozzle with a broken needle inside;), on the right - a new one with a "fan" water diffuser.
On the video you can compare how the native Korollavsky nozzles and those installed from Camry worked.
Video 1 — stock windshield washer nozzles.
Video 2 — "fan" windshield washer nozzles from Camry.
I am satisfied with the result - the water consumption has decreased, drops are scattered more efficiently on the windshield.
The issue price is 2300tg. (460 rubles)
I'm wondering if I can screw them on my WRX-sa?
I'll have to meet you sometime and see if they're different.
Can you measure the injector size? Very necessary! The width and length of the head itself and the diameter of the "leg" (with the expansion of which). I will be very grateful!
Hey! the same nonsense with injectors, if you find a solution, please write to PM [email protected]
Tell me please, I bought myself the same ones, after installation they spray not like a fan, but with a very weak stream. what could be the matter?
Hello. Today I installed it, but for some reason they splash about 10 centimeters from the bottom of the glass and not like a fan, but like a fountain. Could it be the pump?
I returned it and will look for others. Yes, and the price they had was 1000 for a pair.
