Installing foglights — logbook Toyota Corolla 2010
Before installing the PTF, I tried on fogs and made an additional mount on the headlights
Then I drilled holes for mounting the headlights in the bumper and assembled everything.
After completing the installation of the headlights, he moved into the salon. Disassembled the center console. I made a jumper between the third terminals of the second relay from the top and the connector marked with an arrow
Then I replaced the rear PTF fuse with 20A
After assembly I got the following result:
But I didn’t like the light from them on the wall, because. they shine crosswise, if they are aligned, then gaps will appear between the inserts in the bumper and the headlights. In the future I will change to Corolla ones, I will sell these to Kalinovodams.
Well done) I did it normally) I did the wiring myself or is there an eyeliner for them?)
The wiring is there. If you buy a standard steering column switch for the front fogs and relays. Then it will be necessary to install everything in place and not bathe with a fuse and a jumper.
uh duck right now you turn on the rear and front PTF together? Or does the rear just not turn on?
I understand that the switch was not bought new ...
From the dimensions you need to look for another relay to connect. This diagram is from the rear fog
I thought from the dimensions to make for the first time, and then put the button
If you put a second relay, then you need to put a jumper between the first outputs of the relays. A photo of the relay with pin numbers is in the photo above.

Did you change the stalk? What should they turn on from (button, steering column)?
tell me what kind of jumper and how to do it? I installed the fogs, I installed the relay, but there is no light.
At the moment, the back and front are turned on at the same time. In order for only the front ones to work, you need to unplug the plug from the rear fog or swap the relays and make a jumper between the first pins. You can put a separate button, but while the car is under warranty, I don’t want to cut the wires.
In any scenario, a jumper between the first outputs and + the second relay.
Fog lights will be at least 50watt each,
and if there is a jumper between the third and without a relay, then the load will be 100watt front and + rear 20watt = 120watt.
I think it's too much for one relay.
And so we leave the relatives, and we only change the control of the relays with one thin jumper, the load is distributed evenly. And it's not dangerous!
I didn’t drive like that for a long time, then I converted it to regular fogs and a switch. Relay set from viburnum.
Sorry for my clumsy English!
And so we leave our relatives, we deliver the missing headlight relay, and we only change the control of the relays with one too little jumper, since we don’t buy a steering column switch and don’t collective farm a button (I don’t like it at all).
The load is evenly distributed.
And it's not dangerous!
Did you replace the steering column switch as well?
if so where did you buy it?
The toad presses. My pen works well.
I'll put up with the included rear and front lights. Or I'll think about how to turn on the backlight. from the first position.

It’s easier to put a button so that you don’t blind anyone from behind. Bi-xenon foglights will shine near and far?
