How it all began — logbook Toyota Soarer 1986

I decided to sketch a story about how it all was from the very beginning ... Fortunately, there are even some photos left.

So this all started a long time ago. Damn it, it was probably 2003.

Then I was looking for a car myself. Not even a car. I was clearly and definitely looking for a soarer in the 20th body. The times were not quite simple then, the salaries were quite low ... Therefore, what decent options came across - I didn’t pull on the money, but what was available was frankly scrap.

One day looking through the ads — came across an ad for the sale of soarer. they wrote about the year 90 and all that ... They wrote a lie. Soarer turned out to be '86, not in a very pleasant condition, plus a slightly gutted interior. But in general, it was relatively smooth, without sawn spars. That's what I took.

Here, the interior has already been dismantled by me, unnecessary things have been removed from the car, such as the remnants of wires of some kind of signaling, something else.

The engine was in very poor condition, the radiator was thrown out almost immediately.

I don’t want to remember all those bugs and glitches that I had to catch.

Unfortunately, cameras were not so accessible then, so early photographs have not been preserved. At that time, no one could even think about a camera in a cell phone. I will post what I have.
