Put on a winter resume! — Toyota Mark II, 2.0 liter, 1993

I didn’t find a cheap used rubber in Kemerovo, and I bought a new one! I took the Polish Goodyear Ultragrip Extreme 205/55 R16 . I took the narrowest one to reduce the contact patch, for the eima it's gut!

There were no problems with the purchase - I called, they brought me to the car at the right time, paid and received a check. Everything is great!
But the priest came when I went to the tire shop. In VK, they could not raise my car in any way because of the low thresholds! This is a bummer (
Evil went to Shintop - the service somehow didn’t look very good ... but he could still change his shoes) The car was raised on pneumatic cushions - apparently some kind of alternative to a jack) Even persuaded the service man to lower the price a little by removing the extra charge for low profile, it turned out cheaper than in VK.
And so I started running winter tires! 100 out of 500 km have already passed, not exceeding 50-60 km / h without sudden movements.

Yes, the oil has evaporated.

We don't know this at all. Our last winter was the first real winter, probably in 20 years.

sulyanoff 12.02.22

Yeah, I meant studded tires.

SvTb 12.02.22

What does it mean to run in winter tires? do you mean spikes?

At first I was generally furious) Now I'm used to it and I'm already accelerating to 65!

Yes. Running in new wheels is generally terribly annoying ... I myself have been running Hakku7 for the third week in pensioner mode ...

I would also shore, but you need to run in warm weather. Plus, I had an all season. I see many still even ride in the summer - they are waiting for the day of the tinker!)

Good tires, well done for buying a new one! In the meantime, I'm riding Velcro, I'm on the shore of spikes!)))

my father has an imported Hakka 5 - of course they are good on ice, but not really on asphalt ((

Well I do not know. I love Goodyear!

Before that, I had some kind of Russian, so it kept the road much better, especially on ice.

Great cutting! I myself have one)

And here xs, of course. Theoretically, yes.

And if there is ice ... the wide one will have a larger contact patch, which means it will slow down the car faster)))

s
sulyanoff 12.02.22

Narrow? Traction is better on soft Surfaces - the snow pushes through and grips well. The wide one does not push through so much and oil on top.

"I took the narrowest one to reduce the contact patch, for ima it's gut!" what is the advantage of this rubber?
