Replacing struts (KYB) — logbook Toyota Carina 1986

Diagnostics showed that the right rear shock absorber has leaked out, and the left front shock absorber is not working stably. It was decided "in a circle" (or square:) to install new Kayaba brand shock absorbers. There were no problems with the order, although it took a week to wait.

Prices:
- rear racks - 1620 * 2 = 3240 rubles;
- front struts - 1900 * 2 = 3800 rubles;
- installation and replacement - 3500 rubles.

Front shock absorbers change in a peculiar way. The strut with the spring is removed as an assembly, after which the spring is fixed with special brackets, then the shock absorber itself is unscrewed and removed from the strut. Kind of a cartridge.

Total: 10540 rubles.
