Toyota Corolla: there will be no Japanese cars soon — logbook Toyota Corolla 2010

Toyota Corolla Toyota Corolla 16 2010

Toyota may in a few years completely stop supplying cars made in Japan to world markets. First of all, this restriction will affect the Corolla model, which is one of the most popular Toyota in the world and is sold in large numbers. The reason for refusing to supply cars from Japan is the very high exchange rate of the yen against other world currencies. And when converting the cost of the car from yen to dollars or euros, it turns out that the price of Corolla is very high compared to competitors.

To keep Corolla prices at an acceptable level, the Japanese want to start collecting their most popular models in Europe, Asia and the United States whenever possible. This will help optimize production and keep prices down.

It is worth noting that now 235,000 Corollas are produced in Japan per year. Moreover, only 40% of this number are sold in the country itself - all other cars are exported.

I don’t see anything wrong with this, the last Corolla in the family, 2003, was of Turkish assembly and there is no difference with the Corolla of 2007 made in Japan, in terms of the assembly itself, Toyota’s quality control is at its best and I certainly won’t worry about the place of production . After all, they do it in China and in Russia, and everything is in order =)

Reliability, in theory, should not depend on the place of production, it is laid constructively, the spare parts are the same, but the build quality is possible, although this is all a bad reputation for AvtoVAZ, an employee at a Toyota plant will be much more disciplined. the management itself will not allow relaxation, as well as the final control, if a poor-quality assembly is found, then the employee is immediately under special control, a second jamb and an application to the table, and it seems to me that people hold on to such jobs. All of this is, of course, just a reflection on how I imagine it)))

Well, I think, all the same, a Japanese woman will be more reliable ... At the very least, I would trust the Americans more than ours.

I think the Russians have long forgotten how to do something honestly, qualitatively. Probably no control will help. Toyota's leadership allows relaxation for ODeshniks)

"ODeshniks" are private offices and, in fact, Toyota do not directly obey, but simply have the status of official dealers and the only thing that Toyota can take away this status. And the corporation does not control them at all, sales are going well, but in fact there is simply no competition, queues for cars for months ahead, why should OD strain if the people, as they say, "hawk"? Only the client can control them, only you and me, write and call the Toyota hotline, but how many people will bother us? And just do knows about the existence of a hotline? Or not to be afraid of revenge from OD when servicing a car?

In principle, this is probably how it works ...

Spring is definitely not too late.

So it is necessary to take, while they are still collecting in Japan, I would not like to be late. I don't think spring will be too late.

Ours definitely won’t assemble a Toyota well, and AvtoVAZ has nothing to do with it, because. in our country, it’s not so much the workers who don’t know how to do it, but the bosses guide them through ...

A friend of mine told me here (he has a classmate who works for OD) that the Corollas for Rashi are assembled somewhere in China, imported to Japan, and processed there as Japanese ones. He says that this information is difficult to dig up, because it is closed to prying eyes.
