Struck a wheel ... - Toyota Avensis, 1.8 L, 2006
The day started well)))
Not only does the time shift just kill me. Everyone who loves to sleep in the morning will understand me. I had to get up at 6 am, which is the old time = 5 am. It's just kapets.
I went to get the car. Left the garage. She left her to warm while she closed the gate. I closed it, and I think I'll go around the car and look at the scratched caps ... The other day one "drove" me drove onto the curb ...
I decided to look at each cap ... And then for you ... the front right is lowered ...
Although yesterday I went to the car wash and everything was fine.
Well ... I took out a pump that hums from the cigarette lighter. I pumped it up to normal, and went to the tire fitting.
From the garage it is only 700 meters. While I got there, the wheel lowered again, but not to the very end.
While waiting for lazy workers, while they swing ... it's just a kick-ass. As if their money is pouring in like a river ... although perhaps the crisis does not greatly affect them.
They took off the wheel, put it in the water, found a pinch ... the bulbs were in the water))) They removed the slope from the disk and started splitting it… and it turned out that the problem was (I quote) "fucking shavings"))))
Everything was done in 10 minutes. Then they twisted it on some thing (probably balanced). I've seen it done many times, but still not boom-boom. Yes, and it's not mine)))
They stuffed some pieces of iron there, and put the wheel.
Paid UAH 35. Not much to say though.
So the morning turned out to be productive)))
In a week I will change my shoes))))
I hope the day ends better)
Monday in one word))))
Well, I don't have to worry about wear and tear. The rubber has already passed 3 winter seasons, and next winter it will be different.
And about the dangerous ... I'll think about it.
I planned to change shoes in 1-2 weeks. I heard there will be frosts and snow, but my summer tires are also not particularly "combat"
Bzzzzzzz
yeah, now I see.
Now I'm thinking whether it's worth changing shoes in a week, or waiting for the roads to be completed ... by September ...
it is worth changing shoes, tk. winter tires at temperatures above 10 degrees not only wear out before our eyes, but also become dangerous ...
No, my dear, I do not advise you to ride winter tires in the warm season!)
Change your shoes and drive carefully!)
yeah, now I see.
Now I'm thinking whether it's worth changing shoes in a week, or waiting for the roads to be completed ... by September ...
I forgot to mention the tires ... in general, in addition to the imperfection of the disc, the tires are usually imperfect ... There is almost always an inhomogeneity of the composition of both of them, this shows the imbalance of the wheel at a speed ... this usually manifests itself from 70-80 km / h and beyond ... In short, weights hang to balance fluctuations ... somewhere like that. Tire professionals usually still spin the tire on the rim to reduce the imbalance before the weights are applied.
of course not ... even on new alloy / forged wheels they hang (mostly small weights) ... In principle, everything in the world is not ideal)
You just noticed everything)))
But why do weights? Is it really impossible to tune the wheel without them?
"... then twisted at some thing (probably teetered) ..."
- Washing - a balancing machine (with a small screen)))) ...
"... They put some pieces of iron in there, ..."
- balancing weights ...)
"... The other day, one" drove "drove me onto the curb ..."
- and this is called - Ugly!
)))) It's great for you, but I only read about it in books, but I watched the movies)
When I had a VAZ 2103, this did not exist at all. And they dismantled and glued them ourselves!
I remember when my dad had a "nine" he drove into the tire service, made him a wheel (punctured). He drove off, but on the track he almost lost a wheel, miraculously did not come off ... so the masters were screwed!
And you wanted to buzz slowly? If you did it quickly and efficiently, well done, pro!)
yes well, somehow quickly he buzzed there with a typewriter ... and sealed everything up.
tire changers are a devoured audience, tire fitting is generally a flow of unaccounted for by anyone and in any way dough.
Nargiza, I understand your condition!
And the wheel is already blown away, otherwise why glue it?
I don't even know what it is)))
I remember I had a repairman's kit on my bike in the glove compartment) glue and rubber circles)
Yes, then everyone in the trunk had mounting blades and a first aid kit for rubber :)
It is already dangerous to walk, or run over or fall into the ground, when the water pipes break again. So the safest tool is a tank :-)
I bought specials in the store. balloon. It serves for the following: if the wheel is punctured, screw the hose from the cylinder into the nipple and run the whole inside from the spray, swing the wheel and drive a couple of kilometers at a speed of 40 km / h, and you can do all 60-80 km / h. They say it will help, such as the liquid from the balloon when moving, it finds holes (here physics comes into force) and clogs them with itself, dries up. The mileage seems to go up to 1000 km on these tires. I bought it myself, put it in the trunk, just in case, it costs 50 UAH. ;-)
There were no such big ones in the original.
And I didn't want the little ones, I don't like them at all.
