Like many selikavody after buying a Selick dream of Lambo doors, I was no exception. Bolt hinges were successfully purchased from a teammate, for which many thanks to him and armed with free time, tools, my friends and a good mood, we set about installing them.
The photo report of another teammate was taken as an instruction, without his help it would have been much more difficult for us to cope with this.
It took half a day to install the hinges, I take into account that none of us had experience in such a matter, but we did not despair and did everything slowly, with smoke breaks :)
The doors are very heavy, I had to sweat;)
After the hinges were installed and adjusted, the doors opened and closed normally, we already started to assemble the car, we ran into the following problem: the wings did not converge with the doors in the gaps, in some places the gaps were generally huge. This was very upsetting and it was decided to abandon these loops. Although the hinges were a bolt, the hinge design itself was not thought out, of course I want a lambo door, but I think next time I will have to look for some other options so that the body converges normally :) It was decided to do everything as it was.
But I do not regret anything, because we got invaluable experience, and got food for thought, how we can do better :)
Yes, something like that, in theory, without modifications, such as removing the old hinges, installing new ones. But honestly, the quality is not ice :(
The mechanism itself is a hinge bolt, it is for the Selick, there are all sorts of universal hinges

In my opinion, these are not LSD hinges, but VX Lambo Doors, I had such ones, I removed them, because the opening angle was only 70 degrees, inconvenient;(

Well, you can weld it, but I did everything for myself in place of regular hinges (they are screwed into the place of regular ones), you can always return native hinges)) everything rises normally, I have sales and gaps, ideally, as with native hinges.

Hello, listen, my advice is, you leave this idea)))) There are too many crap. Hinges that are cheap, $500 or less, they all come out the same, you struggle to adjust them. So that they fit properly on the car. In order for everything to open normally, you will have to file the wings from the inside almost to a minimum, and still the opening angle will be small. Doors first open sideways, then up. So you can’t open them much to the side, the wing will be pulled out, and if you adjust it so that it doesn’t open too much to the side, then there will already be a small distance, in short it’s inconvenient. I can’t say anything about the loops for 2200. But it seems like I heard something if everything is fine with the geometry of the body, these hinges should stand up like native ones.
