Motor. Completion of preparation for swap. h_5 — logbook Toyota Mark II 1990
Well, I have completed the preparation of the engine for the swap. I completely refreshed it and changed a bunch of consumables and some details, also did a little tuning)) I deliberately did everything on the removed engine, because it’s more convenient to get to hard-to-reach places. At the same time, I studied the design and structure of the motor, so to speak, got to know me better, because for the first time I had a 2JZ-GTE in my hands. The final touch was the removal and cleaning of the intake manifold. Actually, in the previous post, I wrote that I took it off and took it to the service to the father-in-law for cleaning. I thoroughly washed everything, especially the throttle valve and the idle valve line, as well as the valve itself. What came of it - you can see in the pictures.
Here is the fully cleaned intake ready for installation.
Throttle shines like a cat's testicles)
Well, the collector is in its rightful place)
Well, actually the throttle body too.
By the way, I turned off the heating from it, there is nothing to heat the air in vain, so the turbines heat up be healthy)
Well, the finished look)
I remind you what the collector was before cleaning)
But what was the motor before all the operations done with it)
Well, that's all, with the help of a friend, they dragged the engine to the other end of the garage and pushed it under the workbench. Now boxing is waiting for the arrival of a donor)) But first it needs to be registered, which is what I plan to do in the near future))
Thank you all for your attention and expect new episodes, do not forget about comments and ratings))
and you will have to put your ears from the 81st? there, the attachments of the pillows are not the same as at 90m?
Thanks anyway for the advice, I'm glad for any) And I'll suddenly miss something)
I know about this problem. I want to leave the sequential mode, since it’s really possible to parallel the turbine on the 2nd jet with a big crap, some people remove the dampers and, like, think that they have paralleled it, but in this case the first turbine is not controlled at all, plus the second one constantly relieves pressure on it, as a result of which it quickly dies. Then when the sequential is removed, the bottoms of the thrust suffer greatly, but this is not so important, since the motor will constantly spin into the cutoff. In short, I’ll put the engine with a standard computer for now, start it, and then I’ll connect the autotronic in parallel in parallel — as I did on the 90 Mark. I know about the brakes, there is a technological hole on the top of the collector closed with a bolt, you can put it there. And the brakes will be, just the vacuum cleaner will not work))
you will put with a computer aristovsky and sekventalom? perhaps the collector will rest against the steering, this problem, starting from 90 to 110 of the body, is definitely there. I won’t tell you about your 81s. look there on the collector there is an insert such that with 2 turbo dampers it opens and closes. it might have to be removed. and if you remove it, you will have to parallelize. although we put the 70th in the supra with a sequential, so I don’t know about the 81st how the steering is fixed there.
And one more thing: do you know the brakes on the Aristo in a different way? did you drill a hole in the inlet for the fitting? as on 1zhzgte. and then you will drive without brakes
For example, on a vvti motor, a vacuum cleaner is already connected there. stavset.com/forum/uploads…010/post-7-1269378274.jpg

Can you have a Japanese put something there? I just have 2 more motors lying around disassembled, there is also no such bolt
For example, here is a photo of the same motor with a bolt images04.olx.ru/ui/5/17/3…1235_1-----1272285733.jpg
Here, too, there is a bolt - it was clearly installed from the factory, and this hole is just provided for connecting a vacuum cleaner www.turbofast.com.au/img/2jzeng1.jpg
the tide, that is, who screwed the bolt there and why is it interesting? :) return what was there
Well, I don’t know, it’s very similar to the factory one, there is also a special tide for it, although everything can be)

do you like to spin it yourself? I'm even happy when the engine was running away from home :) ) )
and the garage is warm?
Yes, Alexey, I like to turn it myself, especially for myself) The garage is metal, but I slightly insulated it and bought a heat gun, when you turn it on, you can at least walk in a T-shirt at a temperature of -30)) I tried it last winter when I was doing 90 bodywork )
Yes, I like to spin myself, because all day in the office you sit on the fifth point and it is so annoying that you need a load on your hands))) Yes, and I just like to do something with my own hands - this applies not only to cars, but to everything else, for example, I really like to cost something or make repairs. The garage is a little insulated, but there is an excellent heat gun, which even in frost -25 warms up the room in five minutes and you can even walk in a T-shirt)) I checked it last winter) True, the heat quickly leaves, because it only insulated the roof.

Thanks Nikolai, just like any artist rejoices that his work is popular and recognized, so I am very pleased that there are real connoisseurs and therefore I find the strength to work further)
Igor, respect! Your BZ is a pleasure to read! The plans also spapnut his tezzu and use it as a 2nd car. I'm sure your educational program will be just an invaluable help in disassembling the motor) I also want everything myself, at the same time I'll learn) I subscribe and follow the events and news))) Good luck!
