Error 14 — logbook Toyota Avensis 1998

A light came on on the instrument panel. Using a paper clip, I found out the error number - 14 (open circuit in the driver's airbag electric igniter circuit).

Possible fault location (by primer):
- driver's airbag igniter,
- coiled wire,
- central SRS sensor,
- wiring harness.

You cannot reset the SRS error with a paperclip. I went to the service on Golovinsky highway, 10. to an electrician. He reset the error with a computer and dismantled the steering wheel. Everything was in order with the spiral wire, all the contacts were in perfect condition, and in the end the cause of the error was not found. Since then, she has not appeared again.
