Can't set Full HD resolution in games

Hello everyone. I regularly encountered the following problem: I have a Full HD monitor (1920 x 1080), but I use it with a resolution of 1600 x 900. Because of this, some games run in 1600 x 900 and do not allow you to set the resolution higher (from the recent - Ori and Blind Forest, Nihilumbra, from the earlier Splinter Cell Blacklist). Yes, if you change the desktop resolution before starting the game, everything will be fine. But doing it every time is inconvenient. Any advice? I looked in the NVidia control panel, there is no required setting.
