Quest chain not ending (PS4) (Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2)

When passing the main quest chain (for both zombies and plants), for some reason, the last quest does not end. It seems that everything is done and handed over and the NPC says that you have done everything, but the last quest continues to hang in the list of quests, as unfinished.
Has anyone come across this? Is there a bug information or something else?
