Avast fails
I caught a virus, I clean it with an avast, then I remove it from quarantine, but the virus returns. Downloaded Dr. Web helps! What happened to my antivirus software? (avast)4 Comments

1. Report from the folder C: Users % user_name% \ Doctor Web, look at the end of the file - what Dr.Web deleted.

When you start the utility, you look at the "Quarantine Manager", you restore files somewhere. You check if your Avast detects them.
