Diagnosing a game crash (Grand Theft Auto: Vice City)
Good afternoon,I'm developing an HD - GTA VC build designed to maximize the interface.
While testing the game, I encountered a crash after a mission where I had to smash shop windows in the northern mall. When you break the last one, a cutscene appears, which says that now you can buy a Malibu club and other real estate. So, 2 seconds after the start of the scene, the game freezes (as if the loading of some resource led to a failure), but the sound continues to go and nothing happens, when you press any button, the game closes, Win 8.1 x64 informs about the impossibility of continuing the application ...
I tried on clean versions of the game and other assemblies to go through this place from the same save - nothing freezes / crashes in this place.
The question is where to dig next. I've tried rolling back script and texture changes, it didn't help. I play in full hd resolution. Is there some kind of game log about errors, means to understand why the game is freezing?
That is, there are no error codes on departure, no information at all. If you can see, then here is the assembly (the link was not inserted, so I give the distribution id on the root tracker) with this bug, I can upload the save if necessary. 5163490
I'm not exactly sure what the matter is, maybe it's worth trying to put the FPS limit adjuster http://www.gtagarage.com/mods/show.php?id=15178 this cleo extension fixes the inherent bug of incorrect memory handling in Vice, set the limit to 30 fps and turn on the built-in frame limiter in the game, then, by the way, the cars will start to back up normally and the game will go much more stable. However, it also does not hurt to lay out the save.

The game did not start with FPS limit adjuster, I tried to set the limit of 30 frames in GTA: VC FPS Limit Adjuster - the limit was established, but the game still freezes in that place. Also, a couple of times I managed to skip that moment without relegation on another save found on the Internet. But then the problem began to repeat itself with him.
