The smaller laths of the RAM, the better (of course the word dual can be collected and should). Occupied slots is the load on spitalnik cluttering and problems in overclocking.
only expensive systems support 4-channel mode, like LGA 2011, 2066, server and have profit from 4 slats to the games is not the case. Then, 99.9% of the word dual and again to fence 4 boards makes no sense.
