From the Idon chapel you turn to the right, take the elevator, and go around the tower on the right to go down. There, get ready to die very often, because you still need to get to the door by jumping from one of the beams.

In the chapel itself, after the murder of the Bloodbath, a door with an elevator that leads upward should open. You go up, bring down / run the cripple, run across the bridge and stomp to the right. This will take you to the lower level of the tower. From there, you need to jump from the beams to the closed door that leads to the workshop.
