Connecting the cooler to an external power source
There is a ps4 cooler (KSB0912HE), but due to the curvature, the power path of the cooler on the motherboard was damaged, and therefore decided to look for ways to connect the cooler not to the board, but to something else, ideally USB if there is enough voltage ... Carefully solder the wires to the pins closest to the break in the track (replace the damaged track with an additional wire), will it fail?

I'm afraid that she is no longer workable at all, tk. I short-circuited it, so there is a question of connecting to an outlet / yusb

If you connect to USB, you need to look for a cooler for 5 V, with a capacity of up to 1 A on the 3rd version of the port and up to 500 mA on the 2nd version - and not the fact that it will "pull". Alternatively, look for a place on the board where 12 V comes out to your cooler and solder it there, or connect it to an external power supply unit.
