Buying a video card

Hello everyone. Help with advice, kind people, here I am a beginner. I decided to buy a new video card on my computer, but! At the moment there is an integrated Intel. Therefore, a new, additional intel should be bought as well, or is it still possible to buy another? This is the first thing.
Second, what should you look for when buying? Processor architecture? (X64), memory type? (Ddr), etc.
Thank you for the attention.

Anything can be done, even Nvidia or Radeon without a difference. It is worth paying attention to the bit depth, the amount of video memory, and the type of memory. Never buy a card with a 64-bit bus. Even if it has 2 - 4 GB of memory on board. Nothing will work on such a map. For games, in principle, 128 bit is enough. But if you want to twist everything ultra, with 8x anti-aliasing, you will have to splurge on a card with a 256-bit bus. But with such a dollar rate now, it is problematic to buy a truly powerful vidyuhu. In general, I recommend GTX 950 - 960 (128 bit) or 970 - 980 (256 bit). And also the memory must be GDDR5, but not GDDR3, in the store they can sniff, say that such a powerful vidyuha, but do not be fooled by it. I won't write anything about Radeon, since I don't understand them at all. Bus 128 bit or 256 bit - GDDR 5 memory - 2 or 4GB are the main parameters.

there are separate non-iterated maps from amd and nvidia. There are of course others, but for games these are so there are no others.
choose a card nada
1 - based on the availability of ptsl express. now it is not relevant because almost all motherboards have it.
2 - from the ratio of the system power in place of the hypothetical purchased card to the power supply unit. which is a separate topic. roughly speaking, any card has minimum power supply requirements and you need to check what is written in the manufacturer's description plus a stock. because between p390x and 950 gifors there is a difference in demand for food.
3 - on the need for GPU performance and the ratio of this performance to the CPU part. because there are situations when you can buy a very expensive card and not really and not see the difference between them with a certain processor, because that also has its own performance limit. and for this it is necessary to know what the processor's potential is and to measure it with the performance of the card in those modes where it is planned to be used. because the resolution and the number of monitors play a role in relation to the performance of the card to the processor.
