David Bowie and Snake are the same? (Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain)
I came across this picture:So Kojima was inspired by Bowie's art and image?
Bowie's album - Dimond Dogs (Well, everything is clear here),
but according to Wikipedia "Thematically, it was the union of the novel" 1984 "by George Orwell and his own vision of the post-apocalyptic world, colored with glam colors." The game takes place in 1984.

Kojima himself said that he took the image of Snake from the movie "Escape from New York", where the main character was called Snake Pliskin and looked very similar to the one in the game, plus this name slips through in the second part of MGS.
