Is it possible to take away weapons from the enemy? (Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain)

Is it possible to snatch a weapon from an enemy if you approach a dense one, as was shown at E3?

The game prompts tell you to press CQC while holding LT. So nothing comes of it. But if you press RT, LT, RT in turn, then it selects. Did I get it right?
