Weapon range (Fallout 4)
Good day, tell me why a laser and plasma pistol (with an improved sniper barrel and focusing lens) has a range of about 350, and if you change the pistol grip on the stock with a stock, the range drops to 215?And what does it affect in general?

Legion1130 The range affects the shooting distance (now the "captain of the obvious" blushed slightly) so that you felled all this raid bastard before they get close to you. I remember kamikaze super mutants spoiled a lot of my nerves; substitute partner.

Thanks captain, but explain in more detail. If the target is at a distance more than the range of the weapon, will the projectile / beam not reach it, or will it reach, but inflict less damage?

laser I don't know, but a regular hunting carbine will get it, but the damage will be weak

Nothing of the sort. I specially tried it, shooting at the bandits on the bridges: it turned out to be a line when, after taking a step back, the bullet did not reach.
