well, you can still go to the game folder, there in data -> ini open the ConfigDefault.xml file through notepad, find Fullscreen = and replace true with false

Doesn't help, everything worked before! I haven't installed patch 1.2 yet! I reinstalled the game (I turned off the Cloud) and the same problem: with
Twilight1010
did not manage to google this ... From the last measures:
- Wait, they write that sometimes it can take a very long time to load
- Try to forcefully set the processing of physics via the CPU / graphics card in the control panel - Try minimizing - expanding the
game after launch
- Turn off all third-party software, including antiviruses
- Try to demolish physics and vcredist and install them again from the game folder
Twilight1010
What is the patch?
Have you tried to check the integrity of the cache?

Of course I checked it!
Here is the patch: http://www.playground.ru/files/patch_risen_3_v1_2-91551/
Twilight1010
does not need to be installed from here, steam will download everything that it needs, especially considering that there are 2 different versions of the game provided in the incentive, depending on the bitness of the system, and the patch may simply not be compatible with the version being launched.

The bottom line is that I xs how to remove it (I reinstalled the game about 10 times)
LeXXInc
Just noticed that he did not leave me! How do I remove it? I downloaded the game
Twilight1010
xs for sure, did not install. Well, in general, in theory, you need to delete the game and then delete the folder from the game in the Steam directory, if there is anything left there.
In theory, Risen does not store anything else (well, saves in documents, but this is nonsense)

I solved the problem like this: I deleted the contents of the folder with the game after I turned off the cloud in the incentive (Pkm on the game> properties> updates> sync with steam cloud) then checked the integrity of the cache and Steam itself loaded everything that was needed! Now I play and the toy, although not gothic, is good! I sincerely thank you for your help! :)
