White light of death
I bought myself a PS4, played quietly on my sister’s TV, a week after buying the console I bought an HDMI-VGA converter for my monitor. Brought it home, connected it to PS, launched it. An image began to blink on the monitor. I took the headphones and plugged them into the adapter to check that the ps was working (the sound was, but intermittent).I remembered that the description of the adapter said that it sometimes lacks power. I decided to quickly find the power cable and cut it to the adapter (I took the cable from the old modem). I connected the whole thing, put on headphones, and there is no sound there.
I knocked everything out, tried to connect it to the TV on which I was playing earlier, so the ps does not give out any sound or image to it. It starts as always, first a blue light, then a white light slowly turns on, but nothing is displayed on the TV. The console itself works, from memory I can put it into sleep mode, into safe mode and all that, even the TV shows that it changes the resolution to 1920x1080, but at the same time there is a black screen and there is no sound. Tried running in safe mode, it didn't help.
I called those. support, they could not help with anything, and their service centers are not in Crimea, where I actually live. I ask for help.
