Necromorph on Veylor (Dead Space)
Why did the soldiers not kill the necromorph that Hammond threw in the capsule - there were many of them, but he was only one?3 Comments

For some reason, the Necromorph was able to kill 1-2 soldiers and infect them. Since the soldiers mutate into very difficult necromorphs, the infection went much faster and soon everyone died.

so this was not an infector, but an ordinary dismemberment - how did he infect them?
