Need advice for a novice residentist (Resident Evil: Revelations 2)

I never played this creation, however, realizing that I was still missing an important branch of the game development, I decided to do it) Looking at the chronology, I saw that some parts (such as CODE Veronica) are missing on the PC and, of course, I am not grapodocher, however, strong antiquity of 2 and 3 parts (as far as I understand, 1 has a complete remastering, and 4 has HD textures, although in general the graphics in the fourth are not particularly frightening), so this is what I mean: are these parts needed for the sake of understanding modern series? Thanks.

Without going through the first 3 + Code Veronica, you will not understand what a resident really is =)

Here's the best advice for you. Just google it - "The Story of the Resident Evil Series"
StopGame made a bunch of videos that are long and understandable.

- Here is the first part, you will see the rest there.

O) Thank you all, well then, great, right now I'll go through the first remastering, I'll watch the video on 2 and 3, and I'll start sequentially from 4) Thank you again.

And be careful there with the 6th part.
And regarding antiquity, try 1-3 anyway, it will suddenly tighten. For example, I passed the first metal gear only 2 years ago, I didn't even care about the schedule. If the game is decent and interesting, you close your eyes to the graphics.

From 4 parts will be needed, there will be references. Don't take Rakun City, it sucks. Almost unrelated to anything

link to fill in the gaps in the story from Stopgeym, but for some reason the author omitted the facts about the Wesker project and did not continue about 6 part.

Ay brother, the 2nd part is the best and in it for the first time Leon appears as the main hero, Code Veronica is also cool, if I don't confuse the part where you play for Claire and Chris.

I still advise you to go through the first parts - you will not lose anything, but you may gain good impressions ... I gained ... the first ones in general, in my opinion, leave the best impressions ... And this: Welcome to the world of survival horrors, good luck ... (with.)
