Russifier sound (Doom 3 BFG Edition)

Because the new version of the game (BFG) is based on the new engine, the old resource files are no longer compatible with it (other containers, other formats) - this is the "official" short description that you will find on all forums devoted to this issue. Honestly, I do not understand why it is impossible to convert the audio of the original game, maybe someone will explain here, but as of now, there is no sound crack and is not expected.
