Installation problem (Warcraft 3)

Recently I decided to buy a face-to-face varik (to play on the off). I bought a disc with RoC and a disc with TFT. Installed RoC, everything is fine. I insert a disc with TFT - writes that I need Warcraft III. I don’t know what the problem is, because RoC is installed

I had just a varick downloaded from the network before. I deleted it, and deleted everything connected with it, cleaned everything in the registry from the old warcraft, installed RoC, and when I tried to install TFT, I wrote that WarCraft III should be installed. ((((((

Blizzard tip:
If you receive an error message stating that Warcraft III must be installed while installing Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne (and you have Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos installed), you will need to install an updated version of Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos.
This error occurs because the installer for Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos is outdated and cannot be used with the installer for Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne.

To install Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne in this case, we offer three methods.

1. Replacing files.

The old version of the Warcraft III: Frozen Throne installer tries to find files that are no longer generated when installing a newer version of Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos. You will need to manually create a "replacement" for these files in order to successfully complete the installation process.

First of all, you need to enable the display of file extensions in your operating system.
The following procedure changes the way files are displayed on the system:
Click the "Start" button -> "All Programs" -> "Accessories" -> "Explorer"
In the top menu of Explorer, click "Tools" -> "Folder Options" (For Windows Vista users, you will need to additionally press the "Alt" key to see the top Explorer menu)
Click on "View", find the item "Hide extensions for registered file types" and make sure this item is not enabled.
Click "OK" to save your changes. (Do not close Explorer)
Now you can start creating the required files.
To install the game, the content of these files does not matter, only the presence of the files themselves is checked.

In Explorer, find either "My Computer" or "Local Disk (C :)".
If you see the "My Computer" icon - by double-clicking on the shortcut, you will open a list including "Local drive (C :)".
Double clicking on "Local drive (C :)" will open the list of contents. In this list, using scrolling, find the folder "Windows"
You should be in the C: Windows folder and select "Display Content".
In the top menu of the Explorer select "File" -> "New" -> "Text Document".
A new file should be created with the name "Text Document.txt"
Press the "Delete" or "Backspace" button to delete the file name, then type the new name war3unin.exe and press the "Enter" key on your keyboard. Accept the warning about renaming the file extension by clicking on the "Yes" button.

Now you need to create another file:
In the top menu of the Explorer select "File" -> "New" -> "Text Document".
A new file should be created with the name "Text Document.
Press the "Delete" or "Backspace" button to delete the file name, then enter a new name for war3unin.dat and press the "Enter" key on your keyboard. Accept the warning about renaming the file extension by clicking on the "Yes" button.

After creating the files, the installation of Warcraft III: Frozen Throne should complete successfully.
Personally, it helped me!

I used 1 method of "replacing files", tk. 2 way to download newer version of RoC. We will not wash it off by the Internet. 3 way to exchange disk by mail.

When installing the licensed varik, the following error occurred. Unable to rename file "C: Program Files Common Files Blizzard Entertainment.temp" to "C: Program Files Common Files Blizzard Entertainment". (ConflictManager :: ResolveConflicts / 1)
Who knows, please tell me what the problem is and how to solve it.

It helped me in one of two ways.
1. Temporarily disable the antivirus.
2. During installation, go to the C: Program Files Common Files folder, right-click on the Blizzard Entertainment.temp folder, select Properties and uncheck the "read-only" box.
Since I used both methods at the same time, I do not know which one worked.
