HDMI cable works strangely

To begin with, I bought a monitor for a summer residence, there was an HDMI cable in the kit. In the city, I connected to the laptop everything was fine. But when I brought Monique to the dacha, I connect it to my computer and nothing, I checked nothing on the laptop either. I thought I was already broken and buy a new one, BUT I connected this cable to t2 and a TV set for tests and it works great. Who has any ideas on how to "fix" the cable for working with a PC and a laptop?

Did you accidentally disconnect / connect the HDMI cable to your laptop and computer while hot? The HDMI ports could well have burned out. Well, or somewhere in the screen settings, the desired image source is not selected.

Everything is ok with ports, another monitor can be easily connected to both the computer and the laptop. And about the source. Tried on TV and HDMI 1 and the second. Everything is dull, there is no signal. Strange magic.
