If you change the name, you can disconnect dlc, and you can safely use the hex editor.

1) first you need a hex editor
2) open it uplay_r1_loader.dll
3) there ctrl + F and look for your inscription "BreckR" or "cyrildu31" or whatever else it is called.
4) you need to change the name letter by letter, otherwise the encoding will change !!!
for example:
BreckR
Brody_
where the symbol "_" put a space there, save. But it may happen that the old saves do not want to be loaded from you. but you can of course use the save helper.
