Decreased weapon damage (Fallout 4)

Please tell me, I had an older version of the game before, I don't remember which one. There, my pistol damage was at the very beginning of the game from 100+ .. And he killed riders with one shot to the head. I decided to download a newer version of the game (1.2.37) and then noticed that the damage was reduced by almost 10 times. The initial pistol has 16 damage and enemies have to be killed with 3-5 headshots. After installing this version of the game, I started a new game. I thought it was because of the complexity of the game. I put in the easiest one and started a new game again, but the result remained the same. Tell me this for everyone, or do I have some kind of glitch with the game?
