How to turn off autosave (the Witcher)
Tell me, who knows how to turn off autosave? If we discard the item that the save adds 2 minutes to the load (at least for me), then it is quite useful vesch (and then if you don’t need it and you can delete it) ... Autosave has saved me several times already. 2 times when the game glitched (not a single button worked, I had to reboot) And 1 time flew out ... And I usually save in an hour, so it helps if Th ... Although it would not hurt the developers to make the autosave on / off function if anyone doesn't like it.
I don’t know a lot of forums proshmanal until someone chopped off, but here a lot of craftsmen will think about it.
eldar, that's the point, sho I need to turn it off, because because of it loading takes longer, I load locations from 10 to 30 seconds, and saving from 25 to a minute! and in the end I wait 1.5 minutes - IT'S PASSING !!! I myself must be saved!
here in another topic, someone posted the path to the registry key where the settings are dofiga. maybe there you can cut it down? Autosave spoils everything for me too and loads without it for a long time
In the registry, at the address:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER SoftwareCD Projekt RED Witcher Bindings, you can easily find the keys responsible for fast loading and saving, they are called so (QuickSave and Quickload). Perhaps you can find the startup parameters there.
Voshchem, who has a registered license, call the support service.
actually what you wrote is just the buttons are written for QuickSave and Quickload. It is not yet possible to disable autosave. We are waiting for the Christmas patch, where the autosave will be optional and the loading of the levels will be optimized.
In general, as always, you can say it categorically, and then you have to admit that you were wrong)) In general, there is a way to disable auto-saves !! and quite simple, in the x: Witcher System folder you need to create a player.ini file and enter the following in it:
[Server Options]
Disable AutoSave = 1 I
personally did not observe autosaves after that, neither when changing inventory, nor when changing quest status
Respect kanesh to mortimerus, but it's been 3 days since no-dvd came out and the archive contains the file player.ini where there are a lot of settings, not only with autosave!
ZY With autosave turned off, Geralt sometimes freezes and nothing works, only loading the nearest save helps!
skinte pliz file player ini from the new know sit. Download it vpadlu, but I would look at the file - for sure there are different settings that would allow solving performance problems
to tanzilit:
There are no settings there, I have almost 99% confidence that this file is not from the witcher at all, but from NVN or KOTOR, and it was just lucky that the engine is the same and somehow picked up the variable that disables the autosave. hmm ... the game is well optimized so you won't get such a performance gain as in Gotha 3 :)
