How to turn off autosave (the Witcher)
Tell me, who knows how to turn off autosave? We have to talk about optimization problems only with regards to working with RAM. Otherwise, the performance is good.
I bought 2 more operatives for my gig ... In total, it's not difficult to guess it turned out 3 gig ... Instead of the usual 10-30 minutes of loading, it turned out 10-30 seconds. It is true that the merchant quarter takes a minute to load, but everything is better than 30 minutes ... Autosave is done in 5 seconds. It took an hour and a half more than it took in 5 hours with long downloads ... So buy RAM and you won't notice auto-saves.
>>> Instead of the usual 10-30 minutes of loading
* Fell * Those times, I play with my 2Gb and I don’t know the troubles. I also think, why are people complaining about the brakes ...
O_o Got sick, however. % B
I want to note that the speed of loading and saving depends little on the RAM ... everything works no faster than the slowest component! In this case, the hard drive! And until the necessary information is read from it, nothing will be loaded! So 3 gig of memory has nothing to do with it !!!
I started this thread, despite the fact that I have two eiders. It still lasts a long time.
And at work, all four ... and you still have to wait (albeit less)
Pifdish you Eldar ... from the opera does not depend much, then it will speed up in the merchant quarter loading 1 minute when you enter the city ..... 10-30 minutes .... lol you bring down the hell !!!!
Well, what do you people want, each save weighs 17 MB, so he planes it not as quickly as you want, although, I don’t know on my computer, even for a long time, it’s not top-notch, it’s okay, well, he’ll think about 10 seconds - well, fig with him ... I often forget to save, it happens that in an hour of play I never save once, but as soon as they get lost somewhere, the autosave immediately saves me.

I don’t fake anything ... I’m really saying ... I also wrote about these downloads and saves in technical matters when I had a gig ... The temple quarter was loaded somewhere from 3 to 15 minutes, mostly But in the Merchant Quarter, as I wrote, the loads lasted for half an hour plus about 5 minutes about autosave, then another 5 minutes it was impossible to play at all, it was 0-2 fps and only after about 5 minutes, when Geralt was running around this quarter, everything would be loaded - you can was to play, and that slowed down.
With 3 gigs, the Merchant Quarter is loaded with an autosave - 40-55 seconds - measured.
10-30 minutes .... lol you bring down the hell !!!!
Why do you think so??? I wrote as I had ... but believe it or not, the loading time would not decrease from this.
So I'm not pi ... I'm telling the truth. With 3 gigs, at least for me, it loads 20 times faster. Maybe the saves do not depend on memory, I don’t argue with you, because I don’t know for sure, but apart from memory I didn’t buy or change anything else for my computer, therefore I personally had a case in memory. Believe me or not, your business ... I just said it as it is.
The people here is how I turned off AutoSave:
Enter for example (like mine):

The Witcher v1.2 + NoDVD
Will it not be like last time? Where, in theory, the game included an autosave, it did not turn on and the Persian stood stupidly and did not react to any manipulations with the mouse. Only restarting the game helped!

I don’t know about what you said, my AutoSav game was only where it was needed, that is, during the main quest, but not with additional tasks.
