Game won't launch on Windows 7 x64 (Silent Hill: Homecoming)
Downloaded, installed and played Silent Hil: Homecoming a long time ago.Now I decided to play it again.
Installed the assembly that I played in before. Doesn't start. Generally. I click on the shortcut, a dark game launch screen appears and the program (that is, the game) stops responding.
Information windows about errors, missing files or inappropriate system requirements are not displayed by the computer.
More than a computer is suitable for the game (in terms of system requirements). Just enough of everything.
I downloaded three more different assemblies, installed and tried to play, but again the result is the same.
Perhaps you need to think on Windows 7 x64.
Why is that?

The problem should not be in Windows. I advise you to delete the game and delete all its files in the registry. Those. press Win + R enter Regedit, it is necessary that "my computer" is highlighted there, then Ctrl + F, Write the name of the game, then press Delete F3 Delete F3 ... until all files are deleted.

Thanks, I will try
However, I put the game on a new Windows initially.
I installed 64-bit, formatting everything completely, for 8 gigs of RAM.
There is hardly anything in the registry about the game that's why.
In short, I'll try
