Mechanics roads (Death Stranding)

Anyone know how the construction of roads in the game? Yesterday and today have killed at half a day to build a road from the lake district node to the South, partially some roads have been developed (resources for the construction were thrown), partially completely built from scratch. Can I just wait until other players will build all the roads, or in any case, you need to build yourself, so they appear in the world and all joint construction is just that sometimes your world on the road the points will be able to receive resources? And at the same time question if one of my road playing without their second building across the map?
