Of course, there is such a feature as fixing the target (in the second Witcher it was, in 3 they do not know - since they did not use it), which solves many problems (another simplification in favor of consoles). It is clear that you can learn how to play on a gamepad even in the most hardy shooter, if a good sense for a gamepad is pinned. Of course, sometimes you just want to sit back in a chair away from the monitor and enjoy the game, and not sit back to back at an uncomfortable table, but still.
