Do you have a GeForce 970? Then go to Nvidia GeForce Expirience and set the maximum quality in the settings.
And by the way, in the settings of the game itself, you can set the resolution no larger than your screen. (I have 1366x768) And in Nvidia GeForce Expirience you can set the resolution to 2732x1536 (at least for me) and the picture becomes much better and the "ladders" that you can see on the screen disappear.
